Kroger stays open on Thanksgiving with shortened hours, but closes completely on Christmas Day — and the in-store pharmacy runs on its own, more restrictive holiday schedule.
The Pharmacy Closes for More Holidays Than the Store Does
Kroger's grocery store stays open on Thanksgiving Day, typically from around 6am to 4pm, but the pharmacy counter closes for the full day on both Thanksgiving and Christmas even when the rest of the store is operating. If you need a prescription filled, plan ahead — the pharmacy's holiday closures don't match the main store's hours.
