Sephora closes on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, but a large share of its US locations are actually inside Kohl's stores and follow Kohl's own hours instead of a separate Sephora schedule.
Not All Sephora Stores Are the Same Kind of Store
Since 2021, Sephora has opened over a thousand "Sephora at Kohl's" shop-in-shop locations across the US, in addition to its traditional standalone and mall stores. A Sephora counter inside a Kohl's operates on Kohl's own store hours, not Sephora's independent schedule — so whether a specific Sephora is closed on a holiday can depend on whether it's a standalone store or one embedded inside a Kohl's.
