Rent-A-Center closes for more holidays than a typical retailer — including Mother's Day and Father's Day — reflecting a schedule closer to a traditional business than a store, since it's always closed on Sundays too.
Why Rent-A-Center's Schedule Looks Different From a Typical Store
Rent-A-Center runs more like an office than a retail chain: locations are closed every Sunday year-round, and the standard weekday schedule (commonly around 10am-6pm Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm Saturday) is shorter than most retail stores. That same pattern carries into the holiday calendar — Rent-A-Center typically closes not just for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but also for family-oriented days like Mother's Day and Father's Day, which most stores stay open for.
