Most Verizon Wireless stores close on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, but because many locations are independently owned authorized retailers rather than corporate stores, hours can vary more than at most chains.
Why Verizon Holiday Hours Vary More Than Other Chains
Not every store with a Verizon sign is run by Verizon. Many locations are independently owned "authorized retailers" that sign a contract to sell Verizon products but set their own staffing, policies, and hours — separate from corporate-owned stores. That mixed-ownership model is why holiday hours for a "Verizon store" can differ block to block even within the same city, and why checking your specific location before a holiday visit matters more here than at single-owner chains.
