Sleep Number's 100-night trial isn't free to use — a return costs a $249 pickup fee, requires a mandatory 30-night break-in period first, and the delivery charge and adjustable base aren't refundable at all.
The 'Free' Trial Has Real Costs Attached
Sleep Number's 100-night in-home trial starts on your delivery date, but you must sleep on the mattress for at least 30 nights before you're even allowed to start a return. When you do return it, Sleep Number charges a pickup/return shipping fee — currently $249 — and the white-glove delivery charge collected at purchase (roughly $199 and up depending on size) isn't refunded. If you bought a FlexFit adjustable base bundled with the mattress, the base itself is non-returnable regardless of timing.
