Kohl's closes for three full days a year — Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter — after ending its longtime tradition of Thanksgiving Day openings in 2020.
Kohl's Three Annual Shutdown Days
Kohl's used to open on Thanksgiving evening for early Black Friday deals, but ended that practice after 2020 and has closed all US locations on Thanksgiving every year since. Christmas Day and Easter Sunday round out the retailer's three full annual shutdown days, when all 1,100+ Kohl's stores close and every employee gets the day off.
Sephora at Kohl's Follows the Same Schedule
Since Sephora shops operate inside many Kohl's locations, a Sephora at Kohl's counter closes and opens on exactly the same schedule as the Kohl's store around it, rather than an independent Sephora schedule.
