GNC's official Price Match Guarantee covers a wide range of competitors — drug stores, grocery stores, superstores, wholesale clubs, Vitamin Shoppe, and more — as long as the product is identical and the lower price isn't from a closeout, damaged, or online-only deal.
Broad Competitor List, But Several Carve-Outs
GNC's approved competitors span drug stores like Walgreens, Rite Aid, and CVS; grocery chains like Kroger and Giant Eagle; superstores like Walmart and Target (including Walmart.com); wholesale clubs like Costco and Sam's Club; Vitamin Shoppe in-store and online; Bodybuilding.com; and GNC.com itself. However, a competitor's discounted price doesn't qualify if it's due to a close-date clearance, product damage, or an outdated version/formula — and the product has to be identical in size, dosage, number of servings, and flavor. Online-only pricing generally isn't matched, and GNC.com's own cyber-savings-day prices (like Cyber Monday) are excluded too. Items bought on Black Friday or Thanksgiving don't get an equivalent price match either, and no additional discount stacks on top of a price-matched item.
