Does ALDI Have a Senior Discount?
ALDI does not offer a senior discount, senior day, or senior shopping hours anywhere — a company spokesperson confirmed to AARP that ALDI typically doesn't offer discounts at all, relying instead on its low-cost model to keep everyday prices down for everyone.
Everyday Low Prices Instead of a Special Day
ALDI's answer to the senior discount question is consistent nationwide: there isn't one, confirmed directly by an ALDI spokesperson to AARP. ALDI did set aside early shopping hours for vulnerable shoppers, including seniors, during the 2020 pandemic, but that program ended and there's no standing senior hour today. Instead, ALDI's whole business model — the quarter-deposit cart system, shipping-box product displays, and smaller store footprint — is built to keep prices low for every shopper, every day, rather than offering an age-based discount on top.
